The essentials
Transit and one mover starts at £55/hour with a two-hour minimum. Enter both postcodes for an itemised estimate. We check availability and contact you to confirm; sending the form does not instantly reserve the slot. No online payment is needed.

Prices, mileage and payment
How much does a man with a van in London cost?
A Transit with one mover is £55 per hour, or £75 with two movers. A Luton is £75 per hour with one mover or £95 with two. Every booking has a two-hour minimum. Mileage, stairs and applicable zone surcharges are itemised in your estimate.
What is the minimum booking cost?
The two-hour labour minimum is £110 for a Transit with one mover, £150 for a Transit with two movers or a Luton with one, and £190 for a Luton with two. Mileage, stairs and applicable zone surcharges are added separately. These are minimum labour amounts, not a guaranteed total for your journey.
Where can I find the mileage charges?
Our booking terms explain the mileage charges. Enter your collection and delivery postcodes to see the amount for your journey in the booking estimate; we confirm the route and price with you before accepting the job.
How are stairs charged if there is a lift?
Choose zero floors in the booking form if a suitable lift can take the whole load. If furniture needs to use the stairs, add the floors and access details. The estimate shows the applicable amount, and the full stair-charge conditions are in our booking terms.
Are zone charges added twice if both addresses are in the zone?
No. The applicable £15 low-emission surcharge and £30 congestion-zone surcharge each apply once per job. If both zones apply, that is £45 in total. These are our business surcharges, not TfL’s published vehicle charge amounts. The form checks postcodes and we review the exact addresses.
Is there a student or over-65 discount?
Yes, students and customers over 65 receive 10% off the entire price. Select the discount when booking and have suitable proof available. The discount applies to labour, mileage, stairs and applicable zone surcharges.
How do I pay?
Pay your driver when the job is complete. We accept cash, card, Bitcoin or other crypto.

Booking, availability and changes
Is my online booking confirmed straight away?
Your request goes directly into our job diary. We check the van, crew, timing and access, then contact you to confirm. Please wait for that confirmation before relying on the slot.
Can I book for today or tomorrow?
Call with your route, inventory and access details for urgent work. We check the diary, van and crew before confirming. Same-day or next-day availability is not guaranteed, even if you can select the date in the form.
What if I do not know how many hours to book?
List the items, box count, floors and loading arrangements, then allow time for loading, driving and unloading. If you are unsure, call or send photos before confirming. The postcode driving time is only one part of the move.
Can I add a collection or a storage stop?
Yes, by arrangement. The online route is based on two postcodes, so list every additional stop in your notes and contact us to agree the full route and time. Extra stops may change mileage, access charges and the overall estimate.
How do I change or cancel a booking?
Call or WhatsApp 07807 933846 as soon as possible and quote your booking reference. We will check the diary and discuss the change and any agreed terms. Do not submit a duplicate request just to change the date.
What happens if the move takes longer?
The estimate uses the hours and details provided. If the inventory or access suggests a longer job, we discuss that before confirming. On the day, speak with the driver about progress and any change to the agreed work and final time.
Choose help around the items and the access, not just the room count.
Van size, lifting and the load
Can you move just one item?
Absolutely. A sofa, a fridge, a marketplace find or the desk you optimistically thought would fit in your car. The same two-hour minimum applies, so tell us if you have another collection to combine with it.
Do I need one mover or two?
One mover works well for boxes and smaller items if you can safely help with loading. Choose two movers for heavy furniture, stairs, bulky items or when you would rather leave the lifting to us. Let us know about unusually heavy items before booking.
What fits in a Transit or Luton?
A Transit is a useful starting point for smaller loads; a Luton offers more room for bulky furniture. Capacity depends on the actual vehicle, weight and how items pack together. Send dimensions, photos and an inventory so we can confirm suitability rather than promise a bedroom-count rule.
Can I travel in the van?
Ask when confirming. A passenger place depends on the vehicle, crew and suitable seating. Arrange your own travel unless a seat has been explicitly agreed.
Do you carry pianos, safes or very heavy items?
Tell us the weight, dimensions and complete access route before booking. Some loads require specialist equipment or a specialist mover. A standard booking does not automatically include unusual or exceptionally heavy items.
Are my items insured?
Ask us to confirm the cover and any limits that apply to your specific booking before agreeing the job. Declare fragile, high-value or hired goods and discuss packing and handling. Do not assume every item is covered for its full replacement value.

A few checks before arrival save a lot of waiting around.
Packing, parking and moving day
What should I do about parking?
Arrange a safe, legal space near both doors. Check restrictions with the relevant council or building manager, and arrange a suspension or permit where needed. Tell us about long walks, loading bays, lifts and timed access before the day.
Do I need to pack everything before the van arrives?
Yes, have items packed and ready unless you have agreed something else with us. Tape box bases, use smaller boxes for heavy books, protect fragile items and label each room. Keep keys, medication, documents and an essentials bag with you.
Is dismantling furniture included?
Discuss it before confirmation, including what needs taking apart and who will reassemble it. Packing, dismantling and specialist equipment are not automatically included in the standard online estimate.
How should I prepare appliances?
Arrange safe disconnection and any draining, defrosting or other preparation required by the manufacturer before collection. Tell us dimensions and weights. Plumbing, electrical work and installing appliances are not part of the standard transport service.
What information does the driver need for a managed building?
Send the vehicle entrance, floor, lift size, loading-bay slot and any height restrictions. Confirm who will allow access. Share private codes directly when needed rather than relying on the postcode to identify the right gate.

Our East London base does not limit the route you can request.
London, UK journeys and production kit
Do both addresses need to be in East London?
No. We cover North, South, East, West and Central London, and UK journeys. Tell us both addresses and your dates so we can check the vehicle and schedule.
Do you go outside London?
Yes. We move across the UK and can arrange European journeys too. Tell us the destination, inventory and dates so we can agree travel, crossings, tolls and any paperwork before you commit. European moves are individually quoted.
Can you transport props and equipment for productions?
Yes. We support film, TV, music videos, commercials and photo shoots with prop deliveries across the UK, London equipment hire collections, vans on set and returns after wrap. We can also help source equipment.
Still unsure? Call 07807 933846 with the postcodes, items and access details. We will help you work out a sensible plan.
