Small moves deserve a proper van
Student moves tend to be a mix of boxes, bedding, a desk and one thing nobody remembered was that heavy. We help with rooms, halls, shared houses and storage runs throughout London. You don’t need a whole house worth of furniture to book us.
A Transit and one mover is often a sensible starting point for a room move, especially if you can safely help. Choose two movers if there are bulky items, stairs or you need the crew to handle the lifting.
Your student discount, explained
Select “Student” in the booking form for 10% off the whole price, including labour, mileage, stairs and the selected zone surcharges. Have suitable student proof ready when the booking is checked. The discount is applied once and the two-hour minimum still applies.
For example, two hours with a Transit and one mover is £110 before extras, or £99 with the student discount. A longer route or stair carries add to the total, and the same 10% reduction applies to those charges too.
Halls have their own rules
Before moving day, ask your accommodation team where the van can stop, whether you need a booking slot and how to reserve a lift. A check-in appointment is not always a loading appointment. Knowing the rules helps prevent a van full of possessions waiting outside.
- Have your room number, building entrance and access contact ready.
- Pack in boxes or strong bags that close securely.
- Label shared-house belongings by person and room.
- Keep ID, check-in paperwork, keys and your phone charger with you.
- Tell us if you want a storage stop or a second collection.
London and longer-distance moves
We can help across London and with UK journeys too. For a move home outside London, enter both UK postcodes for a route estimate and allow enough time for driving as well as loading. International student moves need a conversation first so we can plan crossings and paperwork.

What does the 10% student discount cover?
The entire price: labour, chargeable mileage, stairs and applicable zone surcharges. Select Student in the booking form and have suitable proof available. The two-hour minimum still applies and discounts do not stack.
Can two housemates share a van booking?
Yes, if the combined load and route are suitable. List both inventories and every stop. More than two addresses needs a route and timing discussion before the estimate is confirmed.
Do you provide storage?
We can transport your belongings to or from a storage facility you arrange. Book the unit directly and check opening times, lift access and the receiving arrangements before confirming transport.
