From the seller’s door to yours
Buying second-hand furniture is a brilliant way to make a home your own. Getting it home should be straightforward too. We collect from homes, shops and storage locations across London and deliver to the address you give us.
A Transit is often the practical choice for a small collection; a Luton gives more room for bulky pieces or several items. Tell us measurements and weights where possible. Photos shared on WhatsApp help us understand unusual shapes, access and the number of people needed.
Before you book a collection
Agree the collection window with the seller, and make sure someone can let us in at both ends. Pay for the item directly with the seller; your moving booking is for transport and the agreed lifting work.
- Measure the item and check whether legs or doors can be removed.
- Check doors, hallways, lifts and stairs at the delivery address.
- Tell us if an appliance needs draining or disconnecting; arrange this before collection.
- Mention glass, antiques, stone tops or particularly heavy items before booking.
- Have the seller’s contact number and exact collection instructions ready.
Clear prices for smaller jobs
The same two-hour minimum applies to one-item deliveries. A Transit and one mover starts at £110 for two hours before mileage, stairs and any zone surcharges. Add a second mover for £75 per hour in total if the item needs two people.
You can ask us to combine collections or deliveries into one job. Extra stops need an agreed route and enough time, so put them in the notes and we’ll confirm the total before booking.
The “will it fit?” conversation
We can move a lot, but we can’t make your staircase wider. Please check the route into the property as carefully as the item dimensions. If access looks tight or you’re unsure about weight, contact us before buying or booking.
Questions before you book
Is a one-item delivery cheaper than the two-hour minimum?
All bookings have a two-hour minimum. Transit and one mover costs £110 in labour for that minimum, before extras. An item that needs two people uses the two-mover rate; size alone does not decide safe lifting.
Can you disconnect a washing machine or fridge?
Arrange safe disconnection, draining and any required preparation before collection. Follow the appliance manufacturer’s transport instructions and tell us its size and weight. Plumbing or electrical work is not included.
What happens if the sofa will not fit through the door?
Measure the entire access route before booking and send photos of tight turns. Discuss removable parts and alternative access in advance. We cannot promise to get an item through an opening it cannot safely pass.
