- Declare the total cargo value before confirmation if it is £3,000 or more. This is a pricing condition, not an insurance limit. Confirm any cover and special handling arrangements directly.
Single item delivery prices
One eligible item costs £70 with one mover or £90 with two, plus mileage and applicable zone charges. A chair may need one mover; a standard fridge needs two. There is no hourly charge or two hour minimum for this option.
The item must be a standard size with reasonable access at both addresses. Pianos, oversized American style fridges, difficult spiral staircases and window lifts need a separate quote. There is no per-floor charge, but tell us about stairs and tight turns before we confirm.
Single item mileage is charged from the first road mile: £1.50 per mile for the Transit offered online, or £2.50 per mile if a Luton or Low loader is arranged with us. A daytime 10-mile Transit delivery is £85 with one mover or £105 with two, before zone charges and other agreed extras.
Starts from 10pm up to, but not including, 6am London time add 25% to the delivery base charge: £87.50 with one man or £112.50 with two men. Mileage and zone charges stay at their normal rates.
Furniture delivery prices for larger loads
Several items, bulky loads and larger furniture moves use hourly pricing with a two hour minimum. A Transit starts at £60 per hour with one mover or £80 with two; a Luton is £80 or £100 per hour. Low loader rates are £120 or £140 per hour. Loading, driving and unloading count towards the job time.
A Luton includes a tail lift; a Low loader has a loading ramp. Send the item sizes and approximate weight so we can confirm a suitable vehicle and crew. Multiple collections can be arranged around the route and seller time windows.
Mileage, applicable zone charges, parking, tolls and other agreed extras are added to the estimate. We check the load, access and availability before confirming. Pay the driver when the job is complete.
Furniture collections from shops and private sellers
We collect sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables and other furniture from shops, marketplace sellers, homes and storage. Arrange the purchase directly with the seller, pay them before collection and give us any order or collection reference.
Agree a collection window and provide a contact at both addresses. The furniture should be ready to move, with someone available to release it and someone to receive it. We can check visible condition at handover, but this is not an expert inspection or a purchase on your behalf.
Preparing furniture and appliances for delivery
Measure the item and its whole route through doors, corridors, lifts and stair turns. Tell us about removable legs, glass, stone tops or unusually heavy pieces. Discuss any dismantling before booking; it is not automatically included.
Appliances must be disconnected, drained and prepared for transport before collection. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Plumbing, electrical work and specialist lifting are not included in a standard delivery.

Furniture delivery questions
Can you collect furniture from more than one seller?
Yes, multiple collections can be arranged as an hourly booking. Send each address, the items and the sellers’ collection windows so we can agree the route and timing. Do not book several items under the single item option.
Can you disconnect a washing machine or fridge?
Arrange safe disconnection, draining and any required preparation before collection. Follow the appliance manufacturer’s transport instructions and tell us its size and weight. Plumbing or electrical work is not included.
What happens if the sofa will not fit through the door?
Measure the entire access route before booking and send photos of tight turns. Discuss removable parts and alternative access in advance. We cannot promise to get an item through an opening it cannot safely pass.
