A move that fits your home
Every home move is a little different. A studio might be mostly boxes with one awkward sofa. A family house might need a Luton, two movers and more than one trip. Tell us what is coming with you and we’ll check the right setup before confirming.
Our hourly service covers loading, driving and unloading. Choose one mover if you can safely help with suitable items, or two movers for heavier furniture, stairs and a move where you want us to handle the lifting. All bookings have a two-hour minimum.
Tell us about the bits we can’t see
Access matters as much as the number of rooms. A second-floor flat with a useful lift is a different job from a narrow staircase and a long walk to the van. Measure larger furniture, doorways and stair turns before moving day. If a bed or wardrobe needs dismantling, discuss it with us first.
- Full addresses and postcodes for both ends.
- Floor numbers, lift size, any steps outside and distance to the door.
- Approximate box count, large furniture and unusually heavy or fragile items.
- Parking arrangements and any building loading-slot requirements.
- The time you expect to get your new keys.
What will your home move cost?
A Transit with one mover starts at £55 per hour; a Luton with two movers is £95 per hour. Choose estimated hours in the booking form to see labour, mileage, stairs and zone surcharges separately. Additional charges and booking conditions are set out in our terms.
Students and customers over 65 receive 10% off the entire price. Your estimate is checked with you before confirmation, and the final charge reflects the agreed work and actual time. There’s no online payment: pay the driver when the job is done.
A calmer moving morning
Pack boxes so they can be lifted safely, tape the bottoms and label the room they belong in. Keep keys, medicines, documents, phone chargers and anything you need immediately with you. Empty drawers where needed and protect loose furniture parts.
Give us a call if your inventory or access changes. Knowing about an extra freezer the day before is a lot easier than meeting it on the doorstep.
Questions before you book
Transit or Luton for a flat move?
A Transit can suit a smaller packed load; a Luton gives more space for bulky furniture. Send an inventory and measurements so we can check capacity and whether more than one trip is needed. We do not guarantee a van size from bedroom count alone.
Do you pack and dismantle furniture?
The standard booking is for transport and agreed lifting. Have your belongings packed and ready. Discuss packing, dismantling or reassembly in advance; these are not automatically included in the online estimate.
What if I do not have the keys yet?
Tell us the expected key-release time before we confirm the schedule. If access changes, call as soon as you know. Waiting can affect the job time, so agree the plan rather than assume unloading can start immediately.
