Free downloads. No email address required. Version 1.0.0

What is included

229 research records

34 migration geography rows, 33 council tariffs, 132 household item scenarios, nine parking records, nine crossing records and twelve disposal sites.

Machine readable files

CSV and JSON, field dictionaries, source links, licence notes and file checksums for each version.

Definitions stay attached

Null values stay distinct from zero. Starting prices stay distinct from exact bills. Free allowances retain their conditions.

Selected coverage is explicit

Council waste covers all 32 boroughs and the City of London. Parking, crossings and disposal sites are selected reference sets.

Internal migration counts people moving between UK local authorities. It does not measure every house move, international migration or removal bookings. London region totals must not be calculated by summing borough flows.

London internal migration, year ending June 2025

ONS estimates of people moving between local authorities in the UK. This is internal migration, not all house moves or international migration. The London region row excludes moves within London; authority flows include moves to other London authorities. Never sum authority flows to produce the London total.

London council bulky waste collection tariffs

One record for each of the 32 London boroughs and the City of London. A standard charge can be a minimum band, a starting price or the price after a free allowance. Read the text fields alongside numeric values.

London mattress, sofa and fridge collection scenarios

Four scenarios per authority: one accepted mattress; one ordinary sofa with two seats; both together; one domestic upright fridge or freezer. No bed base, headboard, corner sofa, recliner or oversized appliance. Starting prices and unknown mixed load totals are kept distinct. Free allowance examples require eligibility, sufficient remaining allowance and accepted items.

Selected London moving parking requirements

Selected nine authorities, not all London. Calendar days and working days remain separate. The numeric example is not a comparable citywide price: administrations, bay count, duration, concessions and short notice rules differ. Published wording takes priority over any planning shorthand.

Selected London river crossings and van restrictions

Nine selected directional or crossing records, not every London crossing. Limits refer to the published restrictions and units. A missing limit means no verified figure in this extract, not unrestricted access. The data is not a live routing or closure service.

Questions

Is this live pricing or routing data?

No. Each record has a research date or statistical period. The current official provider terms determine price, eligibility and access.

Can I combine all borough migration rows into a London total?

Do not sum borough inflows and outflows to calculate London totals. Moves between London boroughs appear in the relevant borough flows. Use the separate London region row.

Can I reuse the files?

Yes, within the licence notes included with each dataset. Our original compilation and calculations use CC BY 4.0. ONS statistics use the Open Government Licence. This does not relicense third party logos, maps, photographs or full source pages.

Reuse and attribution

Our original templates, instructions and graphics are available under CC BY 4.0. ONS statistics and boundary data retain their own public sector licences and acknowledgements. Third party rights remain with their owners. See the licence notes included with each download. Read CC BY 4.0
